Liverpool vs Arsenal

The big news is that Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet has been dropped for the Arsenal visit. A strange decision, considering that the Belgian has performed to expectations so far. Emre Can faces a late fitness test, while Georginio Wijnaldum is available after the birth of his child. Arsenal also have Alexis Sanchez fit again, but this match has come too soon for him. Star defender Laurent Koscielny is back from suspension and will give the Gunners a mighty boost. The Reds are  looking to win their third straight EPL fixture against Arsenal, which would be a first since May 1998. Games between these two clubs have also produced 17 goals in the 90th minute or later - more than any other fixture.

Liverpool continued their unbeaten start to the season with a scintillating 4-0 win over Arsenal at Anfield.

Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Daniel Sturridge scored as they won a third Premier League match in a row against the Gunners for the first time in 19 years.

Firmino broke the deadlock on 17 minutes, heading in Joe Gomez's cross shortly after the busy Petr Cech had somehow kept out Salah's six-yard shot.

Mane doubled the lead before half-time when he took on Firmino's through-ball and curled into the far corner for his third goal of the campaign.

Arsenal pushed after the break but their hopes were crushed when Salah robbed Hector Bellerin and ran 60 yards to make it 3-0.

Salah turned provider for Liverpool's fourth, dinking to the back post for substitute Sturridge to take Liverpool second in the table.
