Everton vs Tottenham

Wayne Rooney will start despite getting on the wrong end of the headlines for drink-driving. Everton will also welcome back Morgan Schneiderlin, while goalkeeper Jordan Pickford and former Ajax ace Davy Klaassen have been passed fit. Tottenham's deadline signing Serge Aurier is in contention to start, but regulars Victor Wanyama, Danny Rose, Erik Lamela remain injured. Spurs will be away from their jinxed Wembley Stadium and are craving for a fourth straight away win for the first time since January 2014. This is not the best of news for Everton, who have not beaten the London outfit since December 2012. That's nine games and counting. Harry Kane & Co. have attempted 62 shots so far this season, more than any other team, and the Englishman will be hoping to get going after a barren August.

Harry Kane's 100th goal for Tottenham Hotspur helped them to a dominant 3-0 victory at Everton.

The striker claimed his first of the season on 28 minutes, his suprise effort from wide right looping over Jordan Pickford.

Spurs took control just before half-time when Christian Eriksen fired a second on the rebound from Ben Davies's shot.

Kane added his second less than a minute after the break, neatly turning in a Davies cross to send Everton to a 10th Premier League match without a win against Spurs.

Mauricio Pochettino's side climb to fifth, while Everton are 15th.
