PSG vs Lyon

Forget about Kylian Mbappe or Neymar. It is Edison Cavani who should be winning more recognition. The Uruguayan scored twice in midweek in the 5-0 demolition of Celtic and already has seven goals in five Ligue 1 matches. But he won't be able to feed off the crosses from Angel Di Maria, who is out with a hamstring injury. PSG have lost just once in their last 11 matches against Lyon, who have done well to start the season off.  They won twice in a row before drawing two times straight.  Last weekend, they won 2-1 at home to Guingamp.  On Thursday, they drew 1-1 with Apollon in the Europa League, conceding a stoppage time equaliser. PSG won both matches last season by a score of 2-1 to make it three straight wins against Lyon.  Overall, they have 22 wins, 15 draws, and 19 losses to Lyon.

Match Stats:

The PSG boss wants to leave it up to his star duo to decide on the spot-kick duties, but he will intervene if necessary

Unai Emery expects Edinson Cavani and Neymar to come to an agreement on penalty-taking responsibilities after the pair argued over a spot-kick during Paris Saint-Germain's win against Lyon.

PSG continued their 100 per cent start to the Ligue 1 season with a 2-0 victory at home to Lyon thanks to a pair of own goals, a result somewhat overshadowed by a disagreement between star forwards Cavani and Neymar.

Cavani and €222 million arrival Neymar quarrelled over a penalty in the 79th minute -- the Uruguayan eventually winning the argument with his new team-mate but missing from the spot.
