Everton vs Bournemouth

Attack is the best form of strategy as both teams head for battle at the Goodison Park. There have been 19 goals scored in the past four fixtures between them, which works out to an average five goals per match. Eight of that haul were scored in the 80th minute or later. Everton will be desperate to get things started as they search for their second win of the campaign. They are also trying to avoid losing four EPL matches in a row for the first time in almost three years. They will be without long term absentees Seamus Coleman, Yannick Bolasie and Ross Barkley, while James McCarthy is still not fit after a knee injury. Bournemouth will be without influential defender Tyrone Mings, whose back injury renders him unfit for at least a month.

Match Stats:

Oumar Niasse came off the bench to score twice for Everton as they came from behind to beat AFC Bournemouth 2-1 at Goodison Park.

The striker grabbed his first after 77 minutes, taking a Tom Davies pass and smashing the ball beyond Asmir Begovic.

His second arrived five minutes later, Davies again involved as his shot deflected and fell to Niasse lurking at the far post to bundle in.

Joshua King had put the visitors ahead, skipping past the challenge of Mason Holgate before firing in on 49 minutes.

The visitors almost doubled their lead when King turned provider for Jermain Defoe, but his shot was well saved by Jordan Pickford.

Everton end a run of three straight defeats and move up to 13th, while AFC Bournemouth are 19th.
