Huddersfield vs Tottenham

Tottenham are aiming to win each of their first four away EPL matches in a single season for the first time. They will be smacking their lips in anticipation as they have won more points against newly-promoted teams than any other EPL club in the Mauricio Pochettino era. Harry Kane will be up against his 26th different EPL opponent. He's scored against 24 of the previous 25, only failing to hit the net against Cardiff City. Huddersfield have a resolute defence, having kept four clean sheets in their six league games so far. They have no new injury concerns, while Spurs have Christian Eriksen available after illness. Serge Aurier is suspended following a silly red card last week in the 3-2 win at West Ham.

Match Stats:

  • Huddersfield 0-4 Tottenham
  • Shots: 6-14
  • Possession: 41%-59%
  • Corner kicks: 4-7

Harry Kane scored twice as Tottenham Hotspur maintained their perfect away record with a 4-0 victory over Huddersfield Town.

Kane raced on to a long, headed clearance from Kieran Trippier to put his in front on nine minutes.

Mauricio Pochettino's side doubled their lead on 16 minutes when Ben Davies finished off a sweeping one-touch move.

Midway through the first half it was 3-0 as Kane curled his sixth PL goal of the campaign past Jonas Lossl.

After Dele Alli hit the post and Laurent Delpoitre struck the crossbar for the hosts the Londoners made it 4-0 through Moussa Sissoko's late effort.

It is Spurs' fourth consecutive Premier League away win, and sixth in total.
