West Ham vs Swansea

West Ham are aiming to protect a stellar record against Swansea, whom they have lost just one of their nine EPL encounters. Incredibly, Swansea have kept as many away clean sheets this season (three) as they managed in the previous two seasons combined. In fact, Swansea could become only the fourth team to keep a clean sheet in their first four away matches of a EPL season, after Man Utd in 1997/98, Leicester City in 2000/01 and Chelsea in 2004/05. West Ham will have Manuel Lanzini and Michail Antonio back in contention. Apart from long-term absentees Kyle Bartley and Ki Sung-yueng, Swansea have no new injury concerns.

Match Stats:

  • West Ham 1-0 Swansea
  • Shots: 13-7
  • Possession: 43%-57%
  • Corner kicks: 2-1

Diafra Sakho scored a last-minute goal as West Ham United moved out of the bottom three with a 1-0 victory against Swansea City.

The Senegalese striker tapped home fellow substitute Arthur Masuaku's cross in the 90th minute to hand West Ham their second win of the season.

Chances were few at London Stadium and the match appeared to be heading for a stalemate, especially when Andy Carroll's late shot came back off the crossbar.

But a double substitution from Slaven Bilic proved a masterstroke as Masuaku and Sakho combined in the final minute.

The defeat leaves Swansea without a win in September as Paul Clement's side slip into the Premier League's bottom three.
