Newcastle vs Liverpool
Rafael Benitez has basically handed the team talk to Liverpool by saying they would need a Leicester miracle to win the EPL title. Will the former Liverpool boss face a backlash? Meantime, current Liverpool Jurgen Klopp could be tempted in fielding his fearsome foursome of Sadio Mane, Robert Firmino, Mohamed Salah and Philippe Coutinho. As for Salah, a goal from the Egyptian could see him become the first Liverpool player to score in five of his first seven EPL matches for the club. Hopefully, we can get to see some goals here. There has never been a goalless draw in 44 previous EPL meetings between these two sides.

Liverpool fell behind the clubs above them as they were held 1-1 by Newcastle United.

Jurgen Klopp's side led at St James' Park through Philippe Coutinho's brilliant goal on 29 minutes.

Newcastle levelled seven minutes later when Jonjo Shelvey played in Joselu, who scored when Joel Matip's tackle deflected off him into the net.

After the break, Daniel Sturridge and Mohamed Salah failed to punish Ciaran Clark's miskick, while Shelvey cleared Dejan Lovren's header off the line.

Two Liverpool substitutes, Dominic Solanke and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, both put headed chances off target.

In stoppage time, Newcastle substitute Mohamed Diame had a chance to score the winner, but his close-range shot deflected into the arms of Simon Mignolet.

Liverpool fall to seventh, while Newcastle rise to ninth.
