Leicester vs West Brom

Jamie Vardy is set to return to the Leicester fold after making a full recovery from a hip worry during the international break. But Robert Huth and Matty James remain out for the Foxes. West Brom have fitness doubts over Nacer Chadli, James Morrison and Hal Robson-Kanu.

Leicester have just five points from seven games, which is their joint-lowest point tally at this stage of a EPL season. A chilling note: they were relegated on each of the previous three occasions. Defeat to the Baggies means they will suffer three straight home defeats in the EPL for the first time since December 2014.

West Brom are a team that is struggling to hit the back of the net. Since the start of April, they have only scored 10 goals in 16 league outings. They have a commendable record at King Power Stadium though, enjoying a eight-match unbeaten streak there in all competitions, winning six and drawing two!

Match Stats:

Riyad Mahrez rescued a point for Leicester City after a Nacer Chadli wonder goal had put West Bromwich Albion on course for victory at King Power Stadium.

The Algerian scored his first goal of the season on 80 minutes as Leicester earned a draw in a Midlands derby that sparked into life late on.

Nacer Chadli put the Baggies ahead with a stunning free-kick from 30 yards on his first appearance of 2017/18.

But Leicester sensed an equaliser when stand-in West Brom goalkeeper Boaz Myhill, starting in place of the injured Ben Foster, picked up a knock and was unable to properly kick the ball.

The Foxes were rewarded for piling on the pressure when Ben Chilwell crossed for fellow substitute Islam Slimani to head down and enable Mahrez to slam home.
