Huddersfield vs Man Utd

Marcus Rashford has given Man Utd a boost after declaring that he's fit to go following an injury scare in midweek's Champions League win over Benfica. Rashford scored the game's only goal, a comical one which was brought over the line by the Benfica keeper.

Phil Jones Is also available for selection but veteran Michael Carrick remains out, joining Marcos Rojo, Paul Pogba, Marouane Fellaini and Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the treatment room.

Meanwhile, Huddersfield welcome back their top scorer Steve Mounie. The Terriers are starting to struggle, scoring just once in their last six games after a dream start. Laurent Depoitre's goal in September's 1-1 home draw against Leicester is the only time they have scored during that barren run.

They conceded four to Tottenham in their last home outing and hopefully would have addressed the issues at hand.

A Manchester United win would see them set a new club record of 23 points after nine Premier League games.

Match Stats:

Aaron Mooy and Laurent Depoitre scored first-half goals as Huddersfield Town handed Manchester United their first league defeat of the season, winning 2-1 at John Smith's Stadium.

Huddersfield went ahead on 28 minutes when Mooy reacted first to a David De Gea save and shot into the bottom corner.

Five minutes later the home side were 2-0 up when United's Victor Lindelof, on for the injured Phil Jones, misjudged a long ball from Jonas Lossl and Depoitre was on hand to finish.

United pulled a goal back when a cross from Romelu Lukaku was nodded in by Marcus Rashford with 12 minutes to go but, despite late pressure, could not find an equaliser and fell five points behind Manchester City, the leaders.
