Wolfsburg vs Hoffenheim

Wolfsburg have played to three consecutive draws under new manager Martin Schmidt, the latest a 2-2 draw at Bayer Leverkusen last week, where they twice came from behind. Divock Origi and Jakub Blaszczykowski got the goals.

Hoffenheim will park into fourth with victory here and they were the victims of a stirring comeback from Augsburg last weekend too. They drew that match 2-2 although they quickly followed up with a 3-1 win over Turkey's Istanbul Basakeshir in the Europa League, their first ever European win in club history.

Hoffenheim's Adam Szalai (groin), Serge Gnabry (thigh) and Ermin Bicakcic (knee) are all listed as day to day while Lukas Rupp who suffered a hip injury at the beginning of this month is reportedly back in training and will be available for Sunday's game.

Over at the Wolfsburg camp, Gian-Luca Itter (thigh) and Christian Trasch (unknown) are listed as day to day while Sebastian Jung's (ankle) status is yet unknown. Adelino Vierinha (ankle) should be back in few days while Mario Gomez (ankle), John Anthony Brooks (thigh) and Jeffrey Bruma (knee) are all back in training.
