Espanyol vs Valencia

Valencia approach this trip to Catalonia on the back of seven consecutive league and have leaders Barcelona in their sights. Barcelona easily beat Leganes on Saturday, and have opened up a seven-point gap at the top. These two sides meet next weekend.

Manager Marcelino has a fully fit side to pick from this weekend as is unlikely to make any changes to his settled side. The classic 4-4-2 formation has served them well and Marcelino will continue this approach.

Simone Zaza suffered a knock on international duty but should recover in time for Sunday's clash.

Espanyol have the seventh best home form in La Liga, winning three, drawing one, and losing one. They have failed to win away all season and have totally relied on their home results to get them through.

But it will be hard to stop the irresistible Valencia attack, who have grabbed 30 goals this season, an average of 3.71 goals per game. It represents their best start to the season in terms of goals scored since the 1954/55 season!

Zaza and Rodrigo Moreno have shared 16 goals between them, a tally more than 13 La Liga sides enjoy!
