Arsenal vs Man Utd
3 Dec, Sunday, 1:30am

Big Match Preview:
It's yet another showdown between old foes Jose Mourinho and Arsene Wenger. Last season, Wenger got the better of his Portuguese adversary with a last-gasp draw at Old Trafford and then a convincing 2-0 win in the return fixture.

Just like Man Utd, Arsenal have a stellar home record with seven wins out of seven. Their latest victory, a 5-0 whitewash of Huddersfield, marked their 12th home league win in a row. The Gunners last enjoyed that kind of run in the 2005/06 season at Highbury.

Alexandre Lacazette scored his fifth home EPL goal of the season to open the scoring, but the Frenchman is set to miss this showdown after picking up a groin injury. He was substituted at half-time for Olivier Giroud, who went on to grab a brace.
Man Utd enjoyed a 4-2 win at Watford, although that came with a scare. They were 3-0 up only to concede two without reply. Jesse Lingard sealed the win with an exquisite solo goal.

Overall, the Red Devils have scored 32 goals and conceded just eight this term - their goal difference of +24 is their best at this stage of a top-flight campaign since 2000-01 when they won the title.

Big Team news:
Lacazette's injury is a big blow no doubt, and it looks like Man Utd's midfield dynamo Nemanja Matic might miss this too.
The Serbian limped off during the second half of the Watford win, complaining of a leg muscle problem. Mourinho, who is already without the injured Marouane Fellaini, is not optimistic of starting him.

Ander Herrera, who has started the last three games from the bench, will be looking to deputise.

Big Stats:
Big Stat 1: Man Utd have been held scoreless in three of their last four EPL visits to Arsenal
Big Stat 2: Olivier Giroud has scored 16 goals as a substitute in the EPL
Big Stat 3: United's tally of 32 points after 14 games is their best since the 2012-13 season

Fastgoal Prediction: Arsenal 1-1 Man Utd

Manchester United ended Arsenal's 12-match home winning run thanks to Jesse Lingard's brace and David De Gea's heroics in a thrilling 3-1 victory.

United were 2-0 up after only 11 minutes at Emirates Stadium after Arsenal defensive mistakes.

Antonio Valencia scored after a one-two with Paul Pogba on four minutes, then Anthony Martial flicked in Lingard to score.

Arsenal had been thwarted by De Gea's brilliance, making a joint-record 14 saves, until Aaron Ramsey set up Alexandre Lacazette to fire in four minutes after the break.

Lingard made it 3-1 on a breakaway, cleverly set up by Pogba, who then got sent off after 74 minutes.

It did not stop United claiming the three points that took them to within five of leaders Manchester City, who play Huddersfield Town tomorrow. Arsenal slip to fifth.
