First placed Paris Saint Germain visit relegation-threatened Lille on Saturday. Lille will face a herculean task attempting to defeat the leaders PSG given that the Paris club are in excellent form and seem to be running away with the league title. Lille still need one point to get out of the relegation zone, even after defeating Strasbourg last weekend.

This was believed to be a great season for Lille; the arrival of Marcelo Bielsa was supposed to bring much success to the club. However, the results weren't to the club's favor and the Argentine was sacked. New manager Cristophe Galtier was brought in to turn Lille's fortune around and avoid relegation. The Frenchman seems to have righted the ship and gotten some good results, but there is still work to be done to get the club to safety.

On the other hand, PSG are having an excellent season. Even after their defeat to Lyon they still have an 11-point lead over the second placed club. PSG coach Unai Emery wants to secure the league title as soon as possible in order to concentrate on a bigger prize: the Champions League. Paris Saint Germain will surely come out guns blazing in order to put this game away quickly. Edinson Cavani will look to add to his PSG record 157 goals against Lille. The Uruguayan passed Zlatan Ibrahimovic for the all time leading goal scorer for the club. Coming off controversy in his previous game, Neymar will be fired up and will make sure his teammates perform in this match. Barring any sort of surprise, PSG will surely win this one.

Argentine Giovani Lo Celso played a spectacular match in Paris Saint Germain's 3-0 victory over Lille. Lo Celso even scored a brilliant goal to add to his remarkable performance.

The Parisian outfit found Lille to be a tough nut to crack. PSG's first opportunity came in the 9th minute with Neymar missing high with a shot. Later in the 24th minute Angel Di Maria shot straight at Mike Maignan, which he bobbled. The goalkeeper definitely made life difficult for himself there.

PSG had control of the match, but couldn't find the opener. They had to wait until the 45th minute, when left back Yuri Berchiche took advantage of a weak clearance to put his team ahead at the death of the first half.

In the second half, Lille came close to the equalizer but couldn't capitalize their chances. It was PSG who finally put the match to be in the 77th minute. Neymar curled a wonderful free kick into the back of the net and celebrated with a dance with countryman Dani Alves.

The best would be saved for last, however. In the 87th minute Lo Celso received a pass by Lassana Diarra at the top of the box and cheekily chipped the goalkeeper with a left footed shot. Wonderful display of brilliance by the young Argentine.

PSG remain in first place, and it does not look like anybody is going to threaten them this season. Might as well crown them now. Lille sit in the relegation playoff spot, only one point ahead of Troyes, who have yet to play. It will be a struggle for them to remain in Ligue 1 for next year.
