David and Goliath will face of when Troyes host Paris Saint Germain at the Stade de l'Aube this weekend. The two teams are in opposite ends of the table, with the Parisian giants in first place and Troyes in the relegation zone in 18th place.

Troyes are desperate for points. They have managed only 28 points out of 27 matches this season and are in danger of playing in Ligue 2 next year. To make things worse, they are in terrible form as they have won only one of their last six matches. The relegation battle is a tight one--there are three teams tied with 28 points. Realistically, Troyes still have a chance to remain in the top flight, but they need to change their fortunes soon.

Paris Saint Germain dispatched Marseille twice in four days without really breaking a sweat. They did suffer the loss of Neymar, their superstar signing, at the weekend due to an ankle injury. The Brazilian is definitely out for this one and may have played his last match for PSG this season as he apparently flew to Brazil to have surgery on a fissured fifth metatarsal on his right foot. Unai Emery and his men will surely have their minds on the Champions League clash against Real Madrid in midweek, but it shouldn't faze PSG for this match. The Parisian club have too many stars and firepower up front to not come out of this one without all three points.

PSG were able to come out of Stade de l'Aube with a comfortable 2-0 win without the services of Neymar, Cavani Mbappe or Verratti. Unai Emery decided to rest Cavani Mbappe and Verratti for their upcoming midweek match against Real Madrid. Neymar who just underwent surgery on his foot is expected to be out for the remainder of PSG's season.

PSG started the game off strong with Di Maria almost opening the score sheet within the opening 10 minutes. In the first half all eyes were on Troyes goalkeeper, Erwin Zelazny, as he kept his net empty from PSG's attempts to score. Both Lo Celso and Di Maria had opportunities to open the marker in the starting 30 minutes but nothing seemed to get past Zelazny. Both teams went into the half scoreless.

PSG came out the second half as they started the first. Hungry for goals and this time Di Maria was not going to be prevented for scoring. Two minutes into the second half Di Maria ran onto a flick from Julian Draxler and Di Maria was able to place a clever little dink over Zelazny who came off his line to try and prevent a shot. Di Maria continues in his scoring form having scored his 13th goal since January. The second and final goal of the game would come in the 77th minute when Nkunku scored a well placed shot after cutting inside a defender to take the shot from a well placed cross by Dani Alves.

Another highlight of the night for PSG was the debut of Timothy Weah, the son of former PSG striker and Liberian President, George Weah. The 18 year old had a clear opportunity to put one past Zelazny, but missed his chance to get on the score sheet
by placing his one on one chance right at the goalkeeper.

PSG is now 14 points clear of second place with 10 games remaining, and are looking to win their fourth league title in the last five years.
