Huddersfield's latest attempt to record their first Premier League win of the season sees them visit Turf Moor to take on Sean Dyche's Burnley side, who following a slow start to the season themselves are now seeking a third league victory on the spin.

This was just about the dullest fixture on the Premier League fixture list last season with the teams drawn 0-0 both here and in the reverse game in Huddersfield.

Burnley have problems to their back line with Ben Gibson and James Tarkowski both out inured. Back up goalkeeper Nick Pope is also still on the side lines. Christophe Schindler and Terence Kongolo miss out for the visitors.

Having lost four of their opening five games of the season, Burnley have suddenly found a bit of form, hammering Bournemouth 4-0 in their last game here and winning 1-0 at Cardiff City last weekend.

Huddersfield's form is beginning to look extremely concerning. Not only have they failed to win a game yet this season, they have also managed just three victories in their last 25 Premier League fixtures overall. They struggle to score - only three goals for so far - concede too many and already appear booked for the drop.

Burnley will do well to match last seasons heroics, but they have at least improved of late and heading into this game with confidence restored should have enough to see off the Terriers.

Prediction: Burnley 2 - 0 Huddersfield Town

Half time: 1 - 0
Full time: 1 - 1
Shots:  3 - 11
Shots on target: 2 - 3
Corner Kicks: 1 - 10
Possession: 35% - 65%

Two bookings for each side in this one. Ben Mee and Matthew Lowton seeing yellow for Burnley, with referee Christopher Kavanagh also taking the names of Laurent Depoitre and Mathias Jorgensen of Huddersfield.

Honours even at Turf Moor in the end, and whilst it was Burnley who took the lead it was Huddersfield who were much the better side here in what must go down as their best performance of the season to date. Well ahead in the possession and shots statistics, a point was the very least they deserved.

The home side took the lead in the 20th minute. Johann Gudmundsson - who is certainly weighing in with the assists of late - swinging a ball over from the right-hand side to find Sam Vokes rising highest to head back across goal and into the right hand side of the goal. And that's just about as good as it got for Burnley as it was all Huddersfield from there on in. The did make it into the break with their lead intact though.

Huddersfield were deservedly back on level terms in the 66th minute. Pretty similar goal to that scored by Burnley. Chris Lowe sending in a cross from deep on the left to find Christopher Schindler leaping to meet the ball with a header around the penalty spot and sending his effort into the right-hand side.

Burnley sit twelfth and do at least keep the points ticking over following their recent back to back wins. Huddersfield remain in the bottom three but do leapfrog Newcastle and now sit in eighteenth spot. This was much much better from David Wagner's men though.
