We have a real cracker to round off the Match Day 10 action in Serie A as fourth placed Lazio play host to third placed Inter Milan at the Stadio Olimpico.

Inter won this game 3-2 last season with the reverse fixture ending in a goalless draw.

Riza Durmisi misses out for the home side. Inter look to have the luxury of a full squad from which to select, although there is a doubt surrounding the participation of big summer signing Radja Nainggolan.

Lazio are going well in Serie A with six wins in their last seven and carried that good form into the Europa League in midweek when beating Marseille 3-1 away from home.

Inter likewise have been in excellent form and will be bidding for a sixth consecutive Serie A victory here. They did lose in the Champions League in midweek, but considering that was away to Barcelona, there's not too much shame in that.

The one thing that really stands out about this Inter Milan side is their fighting spirit and togetherness. There can't be many sides to have scored more last gasp goals than the Nerazzuri this term. They also look to be better at the back than Lazio and may feel the benefit of an additional days rest. Take the away side to come out on top in what will likely be a closely fought encounter.

Ciro Immobile, Stefan Radu and Danilo Cataldi were all booked for the home side, with referee Massimiliano Irrati also taking the names of Marcelo Brozović, Kwadwo Asamoah and Sime Vrsaljko of the away side.

Inter had been making most of the early running and it was they who struck first after 28 minutes. Matias Vecino receiving the ball from Ivan Perisić and flicking the ball into the path of Mauro Icardi around six yards out to prod into the bottom right.

The visitors doubled their advantage before half time when striking again in the 41st minute. A short corner from the right being swung over and headed clear. Only as far as Marcelo Brozović though who rifled into the bottom left corner from around twenty yards. 0-2 at the break.

Lazio were better in the second half as they sought a way back into this but were finding Inter keeper Samir Handanovic equal to their efforts.

Then in the 70th minute this one really was all over. Borja Valero finding Icardi in the right-hand side of the penalty area. Icardi shaping to shoot before cutting inside to buy time and then firing into the bottom right from around eight yards.

No way back for Lazio from there. Despite continuing to attack they were unable to breach the Inter goal at all this evening. Ciro Immobile having the best of the remaining chances only to see Handanovic save again.

A big win on the road for Inter Milan against one of their likely rivals for a spot in the top four. Luciano Spalletti's men move up into second ahead of third placed Napoli on goal difference. Lazio stay fourth.
