One of the more interesting match ups on Match Day 13 in La Liga comes at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán as second placed Sevilla play host to seventh placed Real Valladolid. Depending upon what happens in the Atlético Madrid vs Barcelona game, a win here mat be enough to see Sevilla regain their spot at the top of the table.

Sevilla got the job done in comfortable enough style in this fixture last season as they ran out 4-1 winners on the day. Valladolid did better at home though when holding Sevilla to a 2-2 draw.

Maxime Gonalons and Jesus Navas miss out for the home side. Valladolid's injuries look a little more significant with Ivi, Javi Moyano and Kiko Olivas all set to sit this one out.

Sevilla have lost just the once at home so far this season, when surprisingly slumping to a 2-0 defeat against Getafe. They have won their past four here though, the last three of which have all come by a 2-1 score line.

Having failed to win in 17 La Liga away games, Valladolid have now won two of their last three, both wins coming by way of a 1-0 score-line. One of the most defensively well organised sides in the league, Valladolid have kept a clean sheet in four of their past six on the road.

This looks a potential banana skin for Sevilla who have conceded in four of their past five at home. We don't think they will be beaten but wouldn't be surprised were they forced to settle for a point.

Prediction: Sevilla 1 - 1 Real Valladolid
