Juventus haven't quite been perfect in the season so far. They certainly haven't been far off it though, especially in Serie A where they have won twelve and drawn one of their 13 games to date. Already eight points clear at the top of the table, next up it's this trip to the Stadio Artemio Franchi to take on ninth placed Fiorentina.

Juventus did the double over Fiorentina last season, winning this game 2-0 and coming out on top 1-0 in Turin.

No confirmed absentees for Fiorentina. Emre Can and Sami Khedira are out for Juventus.

Fiorentina have been very tough to beat of late. However they have also found it very tough to win and arrive at this fixture on the back of five consecutive draws, four of which have finished up 1-1. Given the opposition they face today, the home side would like be more than happy to take yet another point from this one.

Juventus are a perfect six from six on the road so far this season in Serie,A, and are now unbeaten in 17 away from home in the league harking back to last season.

Fiorentina can't be dismissed entirely, and do have the advantage of not having played in midweek. Juventus are proving to be a different class to their domestic rivals this season though, and that includes Fiorentina. This looks like an away win.

Fiorentina didn't trouble the scoreboard in the end in this one, but they certainly made a decent effort of filling up referee Daniele Orsato's notebook; Edimilson Fernandes, Victor Hugo, Nikola Milenkovic, German Pezzella, Cyril Thereau and Jordan Veretout all having their names taken. Mario Mandzukic, Rodrigo Bentancur and Cristiano Ronaldo were all booked for Juventus.

A pretty even game on the stats - certainly more even than the final score line would suggest - but in the end this will go down as just another routine victory for defending champions, Juventus.

The opening goal came in the 31st minute. Swift change of pace following a decent spell of possession for Juventus, seeing Rodrigo Bentancur cut inside and race to the edge of the Fiorentina area before firing in a low drive into the bottom right hand corner. 1-0 at the break.

The second came after 69 minutes. The ball being headed back into the area following a clearance from a corner and finding Giorgio Chiellini in the right-hand side of the area. The big defender spinning and firing on goal. Keeper Alban Lafont getting something on it but not enough with the spin of the ball sending it past Cristiano Ronaldo and a couple of defenders and into the bottom left had corner.

Any slight doubt as to the destination of the points was erased in the 79th minute. Edimilson Fernandes's handball in the area being penalised with a penalty kick. Ronaldo stepping up to fire the ball high and in.

That's 13 wins from 14 games for table topping, unbeaten, Juventus now, who are already a massive eleven points clear at the Serie A summit. Fiorentina slip down to eleventh.
