Young Boys vs Juventus Betting Preview

With one game to go, Juventus still haven't reached the finish line yet. The Italian giants will want to see out this group and secure first place, so they need to come away from their clash with Young Boys with 3 points here. They've been excellent in Europe so far, and as one of the favourites to win the competition, they'll want to secure a potentially easier last 16 draw by finishing up ahead of the Red Devils, who are currently occupying 2nd spot and 2 points behind Juve.

Juventus were cruising through this group until Man United's late comeback in Turin. A 2-1 win at the Italian champions has given them the head to head edge, meaning Juve have to focus for 1 last European game in 2018. They will be in high spirts following their 1-0 victory over archrivals Inter in the Derby d'Italia. That's boosted their hopes of retaining the Serie A title, but their eyes are fixed on stepping up their game in Europe - landing the European Cup for the first time in 23 years.

The hosts are about to bow out of Europe for the season, with 4 defeats from 5 matches. They were soundly beaten by Juve last time they met, with the Old Lady winning 3-0 in Turin. Though they are 19-points clear in their domestic league, with 46 points from 17 games, the Champions League is clearly a bridge too far for them. Nonetheless, it would have been a good experience for them as they try to qualify again for next years edition.

Juventus can't afford to take their eye off the ball here, but they've been given a kind fixture which allows them to secure first place. The visitors are heavy favourites to seal top spot, and we have little faith in Young Boys making an impression when they host the Italians. This should be a straightforward win for Juve.

  • Juventus are currently on a 5-game winning run away from home in the champions league.

Head to Head
  • The first competitive meeting between Young Boys and Juventus was earlier this season where Juve comfortably won 3-0.
  • Young Boys vs Juventus Betting Tips
  • Despite home advantage, it will be a miracle if Young Boys can pull off a shock result here. The visitors are a simply a class apart. Juve will want to secure top spot here and we fancy "Juventus -1" on the Asian Handicap.
  • Juventus are tight at the back and we doubt Young Boys can find a way past this resolute defence. Theres a good price on Juventus to keep a clean sheet and we will go with that. We are predicting Juve to emerge 2-0 winners on the night to secure top spot.
