Borussia Dortmund remain top of the Bundesliga, but only by virtue of goal difference as the wheels threaten to come off their season. Dumped out of the Champion's League in midweek, they really need to get back to winning ways in front of their own fans here. This week's visitors are Stuttgart who, currently sitting third bottom of the table, need the points for altogether different reasons.

Borussia haven't had too much trouble with Stuttgart of late, winning the reverse of this fixture 4-0 and coming out 3-0 on top in this game last season.

Lukasz Piszcek and Maximilian Philipp miss out for the home side. Jan Kliment looks like being the only absentee for Stuttgart, although a couple of others do face late fitness tests.

If you had offered this position to Dortmund at the start of the season, they would no doubt have taken it, and as such they shouldn't really be letting panic set in just yet. They have still only lost twice in the league all season, and have been excellent at home. Unbeaten in 12 here - winning ten - they have scored two or more in every home league game.

Stuttgart have won just once on the road - losing nine - failing to score seven times and conceding two or more on nine occasions.

Whatever their recent form - and they were just unlucky against Spurs in midweek - Borussia are a class above Stuttgart and can get back to winning ways here.

Prediction: Borussia Dortmund 4 - 0 Stuttgart
