Celta Vigo find themselves firmly entrenched in the relegation battle as we head into the final third of the season. Currently fourth bottom, and only two points above the drop zone, they need to start picking up some points from somewhere. Next up it's this home clash with eighth placed Real Betis who are just a single point off the European positions.

There have been plenty of goals around in the recent games between these sides. The reverse fixture this season ending in a 3-3 draw and Celta Vigo coming out on top with a 3-2 win in this game last season.

Just the one injury for each side in this one. Top scorer Iago Aspas is out for Celta Vigo whilst Júnior Firpo misses out for Real Betis.

Celta are in a desperate run of form at present with just the one win in their past eleven in La Liga. They have won four of thirteen in front of their own fans, conceding two or more in three of their last four here.

Betis's form has tailed off a little of late with five defeats in their past nine. They have won four of twelve on the road this season, most famously in a 4-3 thriller at Barcelona. That was somewhat out of character though with Betis failing to score in half of their 12 away fixtures.

Two sides who aren't in the best of form, but Betis do boast the greater goal threat and can edge this.

Prediction: Celta Vigo 1 - 2 Real Betis
