It's advantage Benfica headed into the second leg of their Europa League Quarter Final as they head to Germany with a two-goal cushion over Eintracht Frankfurt. To lose 4-2 is so much better than to go down 2-0 though and Eintracht will be hoping to get the away goals working in their favour as they bid to turn this around.

Eintracht were fighting a losing battle from an early stage in that first game having gone both a goal and a man down by the 21st minute. All things considered they did pretty well to stay in the tie and at least have a chance heading into their home game.

Marco Russ, Taleb Tawatha, Marc Stendera and Timothy Chandler are all out injured for the home side, whilst Evan Ndicka is suspended. Benfica must do without Tyronne Ebuehi, Gabriel Pires and Germán Conti.

Eintracht must score twice to have a chance here, but have scored at least that many in twelve of their past 19 home fixtures in all competitions, winning by two or more in nine of those games. They have a chance.

Benfica are going well away from home though, with nine wins in their last eleven on the road, scoring two or more in four of their last seven.

We fancy Eintracht to make a good go of this, but the damage may well have been done in the first leg and we will take the Portuguese side to sneak through…just.

Prediction: Eintracht Frankfurt 3 - 2 Benfica
