It's sixth plays seventeenth in Ligue 1 on Match Day 35 as Montpellier welcome Amiens to the Stade de la Mosson.

Montpellier are on a decent run at present, with four wins in their last five, and if they are able to keep it up, they may yet threaten fourth place. Five points adrift of Saint-√Čtienne with only four to play though, they will likely need to be perfect from here on in if they are to reel them in.

Amiens meanwhile are making a decent fist of drawing their way to safety but aren't out of the woods just yet. Only three points ahead of Caen, and with a very similar goal difference, they are likely to need at least a couple more points yet.

Montpellier picked up the points with a 2-1 win in the reverse of this fixture. The game here last season ended in a 1-1 draw.

Both sides look to be very close to full strength for this with no confirmed injury absentees at present.

Montpellier have been strong at home overall with only three defeats in 17, and will be looking for their fourth win on the spin in front of their own fans in this one. They have impressively scored two or more in each of their last seven here.

Amiens have won only two of 17 on the road this season, but have drawn three of their last four. They can be very shot shy at times though - failing to score in ten of those 17 games.

Amiens will likely be set up to frustrate but we fancy Montpellier will have enough in the final third to break them down.

Prediction: Montpellier 2 - 0 Amiens
