It's a top of the table clash in Group A in Euro 2020 qualifying this week as group favourites England take on early surprise package Kosovo.

A significant occasion at the St. Mary's Stadium this, representing the first ever international match between the two nations.

England have begun the group as most would have expected them to, with wins over the Czech Republic, Montenegro and Bulgaria - scoring 14 and conceding just 1.

Kosovo have certainly turned things round of late and may prove to be England's stiffest test to date. Following a run of nine consecutive losses Bernard Challandes' men are now unbeaten in their past 15 international outings. Their two previous away outings in the group have seen them pick up a draw in Montenegro and a 3-2 win in Bulgaria.

As good as their recent form has been, Kosovo still face a formidable task here. A fact perhaps best summed up by the FIFA World Rankings. England are currently rated the fourth best team in the world, whilst Kosovo are down in 120th spot.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Jesse Lingard are out for England. Kosovo look to have the luxury of a fully fit squad from which to select.

Kosovo are performing admirably, and England didn't look impenetrable at the back against Bulgaria - for all that they did keep a clean sheet in the end. As such we wouldn't be surprised to see the visitors get on the scoresheet - but it is unlikely to be enough.

Prediction: England 5 - 1 Kosovo
