Potentially one of the most evenly poised of the Match Day 11 fixtures in the Premier League comes at Bramall Lane as Chris Wilder and Sheffield United play host to Sean Dyche's Burnley outfit.

The last league meetings between these sides came way back in the 2010/11 Championship season. The sides played out a thrilling 3-3 draw in this game that year, with Burnley winning the reverse 4-2. A lot of water has flowed under the bridge since then though, and it would be surprising were we to be served up a six-goal thriller again here.

Much has been made of Chris Wilder's at times adventurous tactics. It has however been their defence which has been their main strength in their solid start, with no side having conceded fewer goals than the Blades as we head into week 11. Four of their five home games to date have ended 1-0 one way or the other - the most recent of which being a 1-0 success over the Gunners. They were able to bully Arsenal in the middle of the park that day, but are unlikely to find such tactics so easy to employ against a tough Burnley side.

Burnley have drawn three of five on the road this season - at Wolves, Brighton and Villa - and were very hard done by not to come away with a point from their most recent away outing at Leicester City.

Both teams have scored in all five of Burnley's away games so far this season, and we fancy that may once again be the case here in a low scoring draw.

Prediction: Sheffield United 1 - 1 Burnley

Chris Basham was the only player to be booked for the home side, with referee Simon Hooper also taking the names of James Tarkowski and Ashley Barnes of Burnley.

Conceding three times against a Sheffield United side who have been one of the best defensively in the division so far was always likely to end in defeat for Burnley, and in the end Sean Dyche's men didn't come close to getting into the game - failing to register even a single shot on target over the course of the ninety minutes.

This one was all over by half-time.

The opener arrived in the 17th minute. A low ball in from the left being delightfully flicked back by Lys Mousset at the near post and into the path of the arriving John Lundstram. Lundstram finishing into the bottom right from around ten yards out to the right.

The second arrived two minutes before the break. Similar goal in a way. Another low ball in from the left and Mousset getting a toe to it to find Lundstram sliding in to finish into the right-hand side from three yards or so.

And just one minute later Burnley's hopes were all but ended. Mousset grabbing a hattrick of assists when picking the ball up in midfield and playing in John Fleck in the left channel. Smart finish from Fleck from around 16 yards out to find the bottom right. 3-0 at the break.

Burnley were better than they had been after the break, whilst still being second best. No further scoring though. 3-0 it finished.

Big win for Sheffield United who move all the way up to sixth. Burnley slip down to 14th now, as their solid early start seems to be taking a hit.
