Most would have expected Juventus and Atlético Madrid to make it out of Group D at the expense of Bayer Leverkusen and Lokomotiv Moscow, and heading into Match Day 6 of 6, that still looks likely to be the case.

Juventus have certainly done their bit and will top the section. Atlético do sill have a little bit of work to do though - needing to beat Lokomotiv Moscow at the Wanda Metropolitano in order to make absolutely sure. They will make it through regardless should Juventus win in Leverkusen, but can't rely on that with the Old Lady already guaranteed top spot.

Atlético have won the last three meetings between these two sides, including when coming out on top 2-0 in the reverse game in this group. The only previous clash between the teams here saw Atlético win 3-0.

Sime Vrsaljko, José Gomez, Diego Costa and Stefan Savic are all out for the home side. Lokomotiv will be without João Mário, Luka Djordjevic, Boris Rotenberg and Jefferson Farfán.

Neither side can be said to head into this in the best of form, with both teams boasting only one win in their past five fixtures.

Atlético have nevertheless lost only one of their past 19 fixtures here - against Barcelona - and did look a cut above Moscow in the reverse game. We fancy the home sides solid defence can once again provide the solid foundation for the win they need.

Prediction: Atlético Madrid 2 - 0 Lokomotiv Moscow
