The Match Day 24 Premier League action draws to a close at Molineux this week, as seventh placed Wolverhampton Wanderers play host to runaway league leaders, Liverpool. Only one side has managed to get even as much as a draw off Liverpool in the league so far this season. Will Wolves fare any better here?

Liverpool picked up the points in the reverse of this fixture, but only just in a 1-0 success at Anfield. The points also went the way of the Reds in the game here last season. 2-0 the score-line on that occasion.

Rúben Vinagre and Willy Boly are out injured for the home side. Liverpool are expected to be without Naby Keita, Nathaniel Clyne and James Milner.

Wolves head into this on the back of an excellent comeback win at Southampton which ended a run of three games without a win. They have been fairly tough to beat at home this season - losing only two of eleven at the hands of Chelsea and Spurs. They have conceded one or fewer goals in eight of eleven here.

Liverpool just keep on rolling. They were made to work a little by Manchester United last time out, but ran out comfortable enough 2-0 winners in the end. They have won nine of ten on the road, scoring two or more in seven of eleven.

Wolves on a good day certainly are one of the sides who could threaten Liverpool's unbeaten record, and showed enough in the reverse fixture to suggest as much. All that said though, Liverpool simply look the best side on the planet at present and will likely find a way to get the job done.

Prediction: Wolverhampton Wanderers 1 - 2 Liverpool
