Arsenal vs Leicester
12 Aug, 02:45am

The biggest question leading up to this unique EPL season opener? Will Alexis Sanchez still be an Arsenal player come the end of the August transfer window? The Chilean, the only player to reach double figures for both goals (24) and assists (10) in EPL last season, will play no part here. He is out for two weeks with an abdominal injury. The Gunners are also without influential defender Laurent Koscielny, who serves a suspension for a red card in the last game of the 2016/17 campaign. Leicester have new striker Kelechi Ihenacho up their sleeves, but will not have Danny Drinkwater and Vicente Iborra available for action. Arsenal have a superb home record against Leicester, winning all of their last 10 EPL encounters here. The most recent two editions were decided very, very late on. So sit tight.
